Take Action

If you're interested in combating the reproductive healthcare crisis in Tennessee, here are 3 ways you can make a difference.

1. Vote This Year

In 2026, Tennessee will be voting on important local, state, and federal offices, including governor, U.S. Senate, state representatives, and more. Be sure to mark down these key election dates and make a plan to vote:

  • August 6: County-Level Elections + State and Federal Primaries

  • November 3: State and Federal General Election

Registering to vote takes just a few minutes and can be done online here.

If you’re a full-time college student attending school outside the county where you’re registered, you may be eligible to vote absentee. Requesting an absentee ballot may sound intimidating, but it’s a pretty easy process—and worth it to make sure your voice is heard. Check out Tennessee's Guide to Absentee Voting to learn more.

We believe that reproductive healthcare works best when it is based on science and medical evidence. Voting for candidates who support these principles can help prevent or reverse laws that weaken care for thousands of women.

2. Plug Into Local Groups

If you're passionate about reproductive rights and want to make a tangible impact, joining a local advocacy group is a powerful way to get involved. These organizations work on the ground level to promote policies, provide education, and support communities in need.

Local advocacy groups often need volunteers to help with organizing, fundraising, and outreach. Getting involved in these efforts can amplify your voice in the ongoing fight for reproductive healthcare access and equity.

3. Continue Learning

Continuing to learn about reproductive health is vitally important. Every day, there is misinformation circulating—about everything from the safety of birth control pills to what type of care is and isn’t legal in Tennessee.

Learning the facts can help you identify misinformation and avoid spreading false or misleading claims. It can also help you make informed decisions when it comes to your own healthcare.
